![]() Earn your views, don't be obsessed over becoming huge and be proud of what you create and the people that enjoy it. You can't make different videos, you can't even make a new channel, you can just never have an AdSense account again. That means you will have no legal way to ever make money off YouTube again. YouTube said they have a team investigating the issue, but what. I contacted YouTube Creator Support and filed an Invalid Click form on AdSense. It looks like an organized bot-attack (aka clickbomb) on my channel, probably with the hopes of getting my channel deleted. That's not just something you can undo, you need to attach your real name to it to get paid and once you are banned for fraud you are banned for life. These views have produced ZERO likes, comments, and other engagement metrics. If they catch you, they will ban you, no questions asked and no appeal given. ![]() Secondly, if you're in it for the money, you'll risk getting your AdSense account banned by cheating views. Also important are likes/dislikes, shares, comments, and other interaction score based things. ![]() If you have 100,000 views with an average watch time of 1%, YouTube will assume you have a clickbait shitty video that looks good in the thumbnail/title but does not give people what they want to see, and they will not share your video with others even though it has a good view count. Viewer retention and interaction drives how often your videos are served to other people. ![]()
